What Stirs You to Anger?

Where is the Church, the Bride of Christ, during these end times? A large percentage of the population claims to be evangelical born again Christians. Government is controlled by a majority of the voters. I sense a disconnect between our Government and claims of a large percentage of the population being Christian. I remember Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto Life, and few there be that find it." The disconnect may have been discovered.

We are in a spiritual warfare, are we to turn the other cheek? Are Christians well-equipped, through the church, to fight in the Army of God? Some churches and organizations use friendly fire to destroy within the family of God, "The voice in the wilderness" March/April 2008 is an example. Some churches encourage their soldiers to live a comfortable life, build bigger barns (Luke 12:18). Soldiers in battle live in tents; our bodies are temporary clay covering to be used to glorify God, by being in the Battle. What is man that thou are mindful of Him?

The gospel in Iraq stirs anger. What does the gospel stir in the church? The U.S. military gives commissions to soldiers. Has the Church been given a commission in God's Army? (Matthew 28:19) Every believer is given a commission, what are you doing with yours?

The Iraqis say the gospel shows disrespect for Islam. Do you as a Christian respect the gospel? If so how do you show it? Do you only show respect on Sunday morning, hiding in your church, then on Monday fade back into the population?

The military said they were sorry the Marine was spreading the Gospel. Have people had to apologize to someone because you are a born again Christian, an ambassador for Christ, was spreading the Gospel. Does spreading the Gospel represent your morals? Is it immoral not to spread the Gospel? Are you a moral Christian? Have people accused you of acting like a Christian missionary?

Has your city Government been put on high alert because of the outrage of Christians? Do Christians have a reason to be outraged? Evidently not. No prayer in school or Government: Abortion, pollution of marriage, just to name a few, this ungodliness doesn't even raise an eyebrow. Salt and light is practically non-existent.

What about separation of Church and State? When one enters the military he or she does not leave Christ at the Induction center. The Government has no business outlawing the Great Commission within the military. Where is the outrage? That soldier's Great Commission from our Lord is greater than any commission from the military.

Where is the Church during the persecution of this soldier? It is my belief the majority of so-called Churches will side with the Government. The rest will be hiding in their churches singing "Oh How I love Jesus." If you love Jesus, then keep his commandments. If Christians tried to obey our Lord's Commandments the Government and the world would be different.
